Summer Programming

The program will be held for four weeks for all grades. Summer Exploration consists of a half day of academic instruction and a half day of exploratory camp experience.  Academic blocks will focus on STEM and literacy, and the enrichment blocks will be exploratory experiences that align with the academic portion of the day. Exploration options will include sports, dance, STEM, cooking, gardening, and coding experiences.

Hours:
Half-day: 8:30 a.m. - 11:30 p.m. (Academic Only)
Full day: 8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. (Academic & Enrichment)

Dates:
Week 1: June 17-21 (no programming on June 19th)
Week 2: June 24-28
Week 3: July 15-19
Week 4: July 22-26

Cost:
Half-Day: Free
Full-Day: $91/week (Families that qualify for a full fee waiver will have the fee waived. Families that qualify for reduced fee waivers, will receive a reduced fee of $45.50.) 
Free breakfast and lunch included for all students.

Transportation: There is a morning route that gets students to school by 8:30 a.m. and an afternoon route that departs from school at 3:30 p.m. There is no mid-day transportation available. 

Jumpstart offers students who are entering a new building the opportunity to get to know their way around and get ready before the school year begins! This program is geared for all students who are making the transition to a new school whether or not they participated in Summer Exploration. The program includes orientation to their new school including enrichment activities, school-based scavenger hunts, STEM/literacy activities, and team-building SEL activities that will help your child be ready to learn when the year gets started.

Full day: 8:30 a.m - 3:30 p.m. (Academic & Enrichment)

 Incoming 4th grade students can participate in a summer band or orchestra experience to learn about band or orchestra.  This program prepares them to join the band or orchestra during the school year, if they choose. No prior experience is necessary. Students who are participating in Summer Exploration can participate in the program, as well.

This two week program is intended for students who are currently in general education 7th-grade mathematics. This is an opportunity to access the Advanced Learning Program (ALP) and accelerate a grade level in math. This class will be fun and engaging while preparing sudents with essential algebra skills. This class will require the student to actively engage and learn new skills. This is a half-day class that meets for 2 weeks - students must attend both weeks. Following successful completion of this class, they will be enrolled in the Algebra 1 and Intro to Geometry classes at Lincoln for 8th grade in place of 8th-grade general education math.

12:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.
