Upcoming New Student Registration Events

Are you interested in applying for District 69  Pre-K or have a Kindergarten student enrolling in District 69 for the first time in the 2025-2026 school year? We invite you to join us at one of our upcoming Pre-K Intake/Kindergarten Registration Events.

Pre-K Students

Bring in your completed application paperwork for our review, complete the required screenings with District 69 staff, and have any questions answered. 

Kindergarten Students

At these events, you will be able to bring in the required in-person documents (birth certificate, parent/guardian ID) and have any questions about online registration answered. 

Pre-K Screenings and New Kindergarten Support

  • Thursday, January 30, 2025 (4:00-7:00 PM)
  • Saturday, February 1, 2025 (10:00 AM-1:00 PM)

  • Friday, February 28, 2025 (9:30-11:30 AM)

 

Registration for the 2025-26 School Year

Returning Student Registration Support:

Students returning to District 69 must complete the online registration process annually. If you have any questions about the returning registration process, you are invited to join us at one of our upcoming events.

Returning Student Registration Events:

  • Tuesday, March 4, 2025
    • During Parent-Teacher Conferences at all schools
  • Thursday, March 6, 2025
    • During Parent-Teacher Conferences at all schools
  • Wednesday, March 12, 2025
    • 4:00-7:00 PM at the District Office (5050 Madison St. Skokie, IL)
  • Saturday, March 15, 2025
    • 9:00 AM-12:00 PM at Edison Elementary (8200 Gross Point Rd. Morton Grove, IL)

Please contact the front office of your student's new school to confirm the student's start date once the online registration is complete.

School Year Fees

Fee Waivers

The District has qualified for a program that provides student meals (breakfast and lunch) at no cost to all District 69 Families, and there is no free meal application required. However, there is still an application required to be considered for a school fee waiver.  

SNAP/TANF/Medicaid Participants
If your family already receives SNAP/TANF/Medicaid benefits, there is no additional action required to qualify for a fee waiver for registration fees and fee reduction for transportation fees. 

Fee Waiver Application
Families that do not receive SNAP/TANF/Medicaid benefits will need to complete the Application for Educational Benefits in order to be considered for a waiver of school fees.  District 69 Fee Waiver Application
