School District 69, in conjunction with OrganicLife, offers a daily hot breakfast and lunch.
School District 69 strives to provide as much variety as possible in its menus while remaining within the constraints of the National School Lunch Program regulations. Current menus can be found here.
Free Meals For All D69 Students
Beginning in the 2023-24 School Year, the District has qualified for the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) which allows us to provide student meals (breakfast and lunch) at no cost to ALL District 69 families. There is no action necessary to access free meals.
Student Account Meal Surplus: Incoming 1st - 7th graders will receive a check refund if there is a surplus of funds on your child’s meal account. If the balance is less than $5.00, the balance will be donated to Community Schools unless a written request is received by August 31st, 2023. Balances over $5.00 will be issued a check made out and mailed to the student's parent/guardian that is listed as “emergency priority 1” in Infinite Campus no later than October 31st, 2023.
Incoming 8th graders will have meal surpluses applied to past due fees and registration fees for the 23-24 school year first, and then checks will be issued as noted above.
If your child’s balance is under $5.00 and you’d like to request a refund, please email FoodService@Skokie69.net
Meal outstanding balances: If a student owes past lunch balances, those fees will still be reflected in Infinite Campus and you will continue to receive fee billing letters that reflect those past due balances. These balances can not be waived.
If you have any questions please email FoodService@Skokie69.net.
