Board Member Development & Training

All Illinois school Board members elected or appointed after June 13, 2011 must complete within the first year of their term a minimum of four hours of professional development leadership training covering topics in education and labor law, financial oversight and accountability, and fiduciary responsibilities of a board member (105 ILCS 5/1016a). The following list contains mandatory and non-mandatory training and development activities that were completed by each Board member.
